Kristin Chenoweth sings 'Veronique' from Broadway's 'On the Twentieth Century'

In an exclusive to TODAY.com, the Tony- and Emmy-winning actress lets loose as '30s Hollywood actress Lily Garland to perform the song "Veronique." The musical number opens as a flashback to show how Garland transformed from her pre-stardom days, when she went by the name Mildred Plotka, into the star she became.

"On the Twentieth Century" will be up for five Tonys, including best musical revival, at this Sunday's ceremony— which Chenoweth is co-hosting with actor Alan Cumming. The musical's plot revolves around a train ride shared by a bankrupt theater producer Oscar Jaffe (Peter Gallagher) and Garland, whom Jaffe is begging to star in his latest production, which — whoops! — does not yet exist.... Read more
